Cute little cabin with loft built by owners in seventies with all the charm of the era plus comfortable furniture additions through the years. Kitchen,living space with sofa bed and small bedroom with single bed on main floor; Double and single bed in loft . Utility services include hydro but no water ,phone, internet . Character outhouse and camping shower hook-up for own water.
Appliances include electric stove, fridge, wood stove,microwave, toaster etc. Kitchen stocked with crockery,pots & pans,utensils and some spices . Linens not provided.
Activities
Hornby Island is perfect for kayaking, sailing, diving, hiking, biking and swimming in the summer. Hornby Island also has more parks than any other Gulf Island including Helliwell Provincial Park, Big Tribune Provincial park Mount Geoffrey Regional Park and Fords Cove Marina.
Many of our artists have open studios in the summer plus there is an artist-run gallery. Visit our artist page to see who you might like to visit. There are also numerous festivasl, farmers markets and other interesting gathering spots to experience some local culture
The Recycling Centre is world famous. Hornby was one of the first communities to initiate community recycling and visitors come from all over to see how how it works
